Tiny Dragons Privacy Policy
Tiny Dragons does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising. Nothing you or your child does in the app is sent to us.
What this covers
This policy applies to the Tiny Dragons iPhone and iPad app. Hayper's general policy covers the hayper.app website and is available at hayper.app/privacy.
Information we collect
None. To be specific, the app does not ask for, collect, store or transmit:
- Names, email addresses, or any contact details
- Accounts or sign-in of any kind — there is nothing to sign into
- Location
- Photos, camera or microphone access
- Contacts, calendars or health data
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports or behavioural data
The app contains no third-party analytics, tracking or advertising software of any kind.
What is stored on the device
The lesson content — characters, words and their translations — is included inside the app when you download it. It does not change based on anything your child does, and no record of what your child taps is kept, on the device or anywhere else.
Songs and YouTube
The one place content comes from outside the app is the songs. Each lesson links to a song video hosted on YouTube, which plays inside the app using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player.
When a song is played, YouTube receives the request and may store data on the device, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than this one. We receive nothing from it.
Because this is content from outside the app, a song will not play until an adult answers a multiplication question. A child cannot reach YouTube on their own. The player is also restricted to the one song the lesson names — it cannot navigate to another video, to YouTube's website, or to search.
Everything else in the app works with no internet connection at all.
Children's privacy
Tiny Dragons is made for young children and is designed so there is nothing to protect: it collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, including children under 13. It complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by not collecting personal information in the first place.
There is no data to request, correct or delete, because none is ever gathered. Deleting the app removes everything.
Sharing
We have no data to share, sell or disclose, and we do not sell personal information. No data is transferred to any third party, with the single exception of playing a song, described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If the app ever begins collecting anything at all, that change will be stated plainly here before it ships.
