Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address to validate your account and communicate with you about the service.
Feedback
If you choose to send feedback through the app, we receive the information you provide. This is entirely optional and initiated by you.
Conversation data
Your conversations are stored locally on your device—Hayper does not store your conversation data on our servers. When you use your own AI provider API key, your data is sent directly to that provider. When you don't use your own API key, your data is sent through Hayper to the AI provider. In both cases, Hayper does not store any of your conversation data. The AI-generated responses are stored locally on your device.

Data storage
Your conversation data and AI-generated responses are stored locally on your device. Hayper does not retain copies of your conversations on our servers.
We retain your account information (email address) for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
Third-party services
We use select third-party services to operate Hayper:
- AI providers: Hayper uses third-party AI services (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to process your conversations. These providers have their own privacy policies regarding data handling and model training. We encourage you to review their policies.
- Cloud infrastructure: For secure data storage and account management

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
